Advert 2- WeWantAnyCar.com

The second advert I analysed is a 'WeWantAnyCar.com' advert, the purpose of this advert is to promote the company and to raise the brands awareness. Within seconds of the advert it's obvious what company it's advertising 'WeWantAnyCar.com'. The USP for this radio advert is that they'll buy any car no matter what and in any situation. The advert says theirs '3 simple steps', usually when someone sells a car theirs loads of paperwork so this tells the audience why they're better than other car companies. The voice over is 2 males, one has a normal 'common' voice where as the others voice has been edited to make it sound 'jokey' this has added comedy to the advert. Theirs also music quietly playing throughout the advert, it makes it catchy. Instead of making a song like majority of this companies adverts they've just added a 'tune' with 2 males talking about the company which is still quite catchy. Within a few seconds of the advert theirs clicking on a computer keyboard and a computer mouse in the background while this happens it sounds like someone from the company is speaking to a seller and he's typing what they're saying and saying it out loud 'You're selling 3 mini's? A red one, a white one and a blue one? and you'd like a quick no-nonsense sale?', this helps promote the company and shows they're an easy company to go with. Theirs also a locking sound on a car this shows what they're promoting with sound effects as well as voice overs.  In the RACC guidelines it mentions certain sound effects that shouldn't be used in adverts because it can put the driver off but in this advert the sound effects are quite and you can only just hear them in the background. 'Care is needed when employing sound effects related to cars and driving which may create a safety hazard to those listening while driving, e.g screeching tyres, car horns, revving, engines, sirens, smashing glass, vehicle crashes.'
